Is a retainer required to book?
Yes. For portrait sessions a $50 retainer is required to secure your date; Weddings $500 or half of your package. This is non refundable.
Do you offer prints and canvases?
Yes! I offer professionally color matched prints right from your online portfolio and can process orders personally for USB delivered portfolios and Weddings.
What kind of camera gear do you use?
Most of my past work [2010-2018] was done with a Canon 5D MKiii or 6D and my 2019 work and later is shot with a Sony A7iii. I have Canon, Sony and Sigma Glass.
Can I purchase more photos than my package includes?
Yes! You can always add additional photos to your portrait package. You will have access to a proofing gallery to make your selections. Wedding Projects by default will include all notable, print-quality files.
When do you usually shoot outdoor portraits?
The best light is 1-2 hours before sunset into the sweet spot of "Golden Hour". We will definitely shoot in this window when possible and when project appropriate. On days that are overcast we have much more scheduling flexibility. If you are feeling adventurous we can absolutely discuss a sunrise session also!
Can you help me with outfit choices?
Yes please, I'd love to play a part in helping you feel confident in your color and texture choices for the shoot!
Will there be a second shooter?
I shoot majority of my work alone but have several second shooters that I can hire based on a bride's wedding day needs.
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Yes! The more I can travel the better and I have equipment that can handle the blazing bright direct sun on a beach in Mexico - so take me with you!
What are your travel fees?
These vary and will be quoted based on circumstances, package purchased, destination etc.
Do I have to order prints through you?
It is not required, I give print releases if needed and I also offer professional prints with a lab that backs their work and is calibrated to accurately color match my digital files.
Can I extend the Wedding coverage on the day of?
Yes, generally my rate is $150/hr for additional coverage. I usually bring this up in consultations so that we've discussed prior and have a game plan in place.
Do you charge tax?
Yes, Photography is subject to sales tax.
